History shows that societies become what they nurture, which is why our collective support of these wonderful organizations and the work they do for us all is so important. Each organization showcased on this page has its fundraising code listed next to their name.

When you find an organization that aligns with your values, you can support their cause by using the organization’s fundraising code during checkout, where it says “Enter Code Here.” Together, we can create positive social change every day by simply enjoying a cup of coffee. It’s a win-win-win! Come Breyting® with us!

Our mission is to protect manatees and their aquatic habitat for future generations. Our objective is the recovery and protection of manatees and their aquatic ecosystems throughout the world.

WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT:

Human activities are harming manatees, and only our compassion and action can protect them. Manatees are Florida’s official state marine mammal. They are listed as endangered at the international level by the IUCN World Conservation Union. They are listed as threatened at the federal level by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and at the state level by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Their listing status is largely due to human activity. Since record-keeping began in 1974, more than 41% of manatee deaths where cause of death was identified were human-related – and almost 34% were due to watercraft collisions (the largest known cause of manatee deaths). With increased awareness, education, regulations, and enforcement, manatee deaths caused by humans could be substantially reduced, and the eventual recovery of the species could be realized.

…. because kids can’t fight cancer alone!

At BASE Camp – We Believe Every Child Deserves a Childhood. BASE Camp Children’s Foundation has been serving children impacted by cancer and other life-threatening hematological illnesses in Central Florida since 1982. BASE Camp is a place where you can always find comfort, friends, nourishment, and encouragement along the journey …Our programs and activities are like the encampments that are built as climbers climb mountains, we set up base camps locally to help the children stop, rest, eat, play, gather with friends to gain the strength and encouragement to continue the journey and finish the climb!

Some examples of what we provide:

BASE Camp NOURISHMENT delivers over 400 meals every WEEK to children and families at the 3 local hospitals. Every Friday night the delivery of a dinner meal is enhanced with movies and popcorn and candy so that families can enjoy “DINNER & A MOVIE” while in the hospital.

BASE Camp also coordinates MILESTONE parties celebrating: birthdays and END OF CHEMO/RADIATION, etc. Bringing dessert and balloons to acknowledge and CELEBRATE the day!

BASE Camp hosts special events and parties for the children and siblings to get an opportunity to play. get peer support and enjoy “normal” kid things. And so much more!
