In 1995 Crystal relocated to Central Florida as a Multi Disciplined Artist and enjoys creating artwork using Acrylic, Resin and metallic elements. In 2014 a new style of creating inspired her to explore Fluid abstract pour painting. The purpose of the abstracts is to reignite the senses and subconscious through vivid colors and movement. This exploration began a journey that would later expand into her current Fractioned Reality Series. This series elevates the abstract by incorporating realism delicately into each abstract work. Bridging together the two styles of abstract and realism to tell a story and bring a personal journey with her work. Each painting is Interlaced with metal powder, pigment and alloys that are layered and torched within the resin in various ways. When lighted with accent lighting the paintings seem to come alive, immersing viewers into a new unique visual narrative. Where art and emotion coexist freely.
